Carina Aiko Sakimura

Carina graduated from USC with a major in Psychology, and minors in Occupational Science and Mind-Body Studies. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy to become a licensed occupational therapist. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, being a tourist in her own city, crocheting trinkets for her friends, and baking sweet treats. Carina was an executive board member of USC's Nikkei Student Union during her undergraduate career, and a high school and college camp counselor for GVJCI's Tanoshii Fun Camp. She was honored to continue her Japanese American community involvement and service through Nisei Week after college. She remains forever grateful to the Miss PJCI program for welcoming her with open arms and truly making her feel like part of the family. Her platform for her year was the Go For Broke National Education Center.
